Breathwork & Yoga Workshop

Join us for a transformational experience combining yoga and breathwork at Grow Fitness & Wellness.

Both breathwork and yoga support the journey of personal growth and self development through bringing more awareness and presence into our lives and expanding our consciousness.

We will begin the workshop with 30 minutes of an all levels accessible yoga sequence to open the entire body for breathwork. Through a combination of deep diaphragmatic breathing and a carefully crafted soundtrack, we can dive deep into our subconscious mind and learn about unconscious thinking patterns that hold us back.

During the breathwork, it is also possible to access expanded states of consciousness similar to the work with plant medicine.

By quieting down the thinking mind, we can access an inner intelligence that is present in all of us, all the time.

Regular breathwork sessions strengthen the neural pathways that help us connect to this inner intelligence.

Optional Mandala Making Integration

Following breathwork, you can add on a Mandala Making Integration Session with Betsy for an additional $15, which includes all the supplies for mandala making and nutritious snacks* to nourish your mind, body, and creative spirit. This integration session will be 45 minutes.

In Sanskrit, the word mandala means circle. In Buddhism, the mandala represents the universe. For Betsy, the act of drawing a daily mandala represents the universe of creative opportunity, an access point to artistic expression, a calming practice, and a powerful way to integrate following breathwork. The circle illustrates the infinite by creating a finite amount of space to fill with your creative spirit. A mandala is a circle of opportunity inviting creativity to lead the way. Betsy started the practice of drawing mandalas at 8 years old when her Aunt Gretchen introduced her to the art of mandala making. Aunt Gretchen showed Betsy how to begin with an empty circle with no intention other than to be creative. The practice of drawing a daily mandala supported Betsy in overcoming her creative blocks and continues to be an easy access point to creativity in adulthood. Betsy loves that each mandala is an unrepeatable artistic expression of the moment. Add the Mandala Making Session with Betsy to your workshop experience to integrate your experience and ignite your creative fire within.

*all the snacks will be gluten-free, dairy-free, Ayurvedic, and delicious to support optimal health and nourishment.
